Global Sumud Flotilla coalition continues towards Tunis

Most of the participating members of the Global Sumud Flotilla coalition to Gaza are on their way to Tunis, Anadolu Agency reported.

Mandla Mandela, grandson of South African anti-apartheid leader Nelson Mandela, will be joining the flotilla in Tunisia.

Organisers have called for international protection for the flotilla amidst mounting threats from the Israeli government. 

According to reports by Anadolu Agency, over 100 current and former elected officials have signed a letter calling on the formation of a humanitarian corridor for the safe passage of the flotilla.
