Video: Australia to recognise Palestinian state, says prime minister

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced that Australia will formally recognise the State of Palestine at the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in September.

Albanese said the recognition is based on commitments from the Palestinian Authority.
