Israel kills 84 in Gaza in 24 hours as famine deaths climb to 370

Gaza’s Health Ministry says at least 84 Palestinians were killed and 338 wounded over the past 24 hours as Israeli forces intensified their assault on the besieged enclave.

Among the dead were 17 people who were shot while trying to collect desperately needed aid, the ministry reported.

It also confirmed three more deaths caused by hunger, bringing the toll from starvation and malnutrition to 370, including 131 children.

According to updated figures, at least 64,231 Palestinians have been killed and 161,583 wounded in Gaza since Israel began its onslaught on 7 October 2023.
