Death toll in Gaza rises to 64,231

The toll of Palestinians killed in Gaza by Israeli forces since October 2023 has risen to 64,231, according to the Palestinian health ministry. 

At least 161,583 others have been wounded during that time, it added. 

Over the past 24 hours, at least 84 people were killed and 338 wounded. Seventeen of them were killed on Wednesday while seeking food or humanitarian aid.
