Good morning Middle East Eye readers, 

  • Israeli forces killed 8 Palestinians, including seven children, in air strikes on residential apartments and tents housing displaced people in Gaza City

  • The Global Sumud Flotilla is on its way to Tunisia where it intends to connect with other flotillas across the Mediterranean to Gaza to try to break the Israeli blockade on the Strip.

  • Israeli forces have used artillery shells to target the Sabra and Zeitoun neighbourhoods, south of Gaza City.

  • Medical Relief in Gaza has said that the situation in the Strip is extremely dire, with nowhere to move nearly one million Gaza City residents, especially the starving and sick.
