Palestinians in Gaza expect “very violent day” as Israeli military targets Gaza City buildings

Palestinians in Gaza City are expecting a “very violent day," according to journalist Hani Mahmoud, reporting for Al Jazeera. 

“Palestinians are 100 percent sure that Israeli forces want to empty Gaza City,” Al Jazeera journalist Hind Khoudary reported. 

The Israeli military announced its intentions to continue leveling high-rise buildings in Gaza City, located in densely populated residential areas. 

Today’s escalation occurs on the 700th day of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza.
