CAIR demands Google cancel $45m advertising deal with Israeli government to cover up genocide
Civil rights organisation the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has demanded that Google cancel a an advertising campaign promoting Israeli government narratives on its platforms that is reported to be worth $45m on Friday.
Drop Site News reported that, Google entered into the agreement to promote content produced by the Israeli government, including material denying Israel’s ongoing campaign of starvation and war crimes against humanity in Gaza.
“American companies should not be complicit in the cover-up of slaughter, mass destruction, ethnic cleansing, and forced starvation – especially as Palestinian civilians, including children, continue to suffer and die," said CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad.
