Hamas: We commend heroic operation at Ramot settlement

Hamas and Al-Quds Brigades have said that they "commend the heroic operation carried out by two Palestinian resistance fighters" at the Ramot settlement junction, north of occupied Jerusalem, Al Jazeera has reported. 

The Jerusalem operation is a natural response to the occupation's crimes against our people and a message that the enemy's plans will not go unpunished, Hamas has said.

Two Palestinians killed five Israelis and wounded others in a shooting in Jerusalem on Monday. The two men, reportedly from the occupied West Bank, boarded a bus at the Ramot Junction and opened fire using a makeshift “Carlo” submachine gun, according to Israeli media reports.

Both were later shot and “neutralised.” Their identities and current condition remain unclear. At least 17 others were wounded in the shooting.
