Netanyahu calls on residents of Gaza City to 'leave now'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatened forced displacement to Palestinians in Gaza City after Israel said it would ramp up attacks on the enclave.

"I say to the residents of Gaza, I take this opportunity and listen to me carefully: you have been warned — leave now!”

Netanyahu said forces are now organising and assembling into Gaza City for a ground "maneuver".
