Israeli military says it intercepted missile fired from Yemen

Israel’s military says its air force has intercepted a ballistic missile launched from Yemen.

Air raid sirens went off in several communities across the Negev Desert in southern Israel shortly before the interception.

No casualties or damage have been reported.
