Around 200,000 Palestinians forced to flee Gaza City: Report

Tens of thousands of Palestinians have fled Gaza City in recent days as Israeli forces prepare to intensify their onslaught on the besieged city, the Times of Israel reports, citing Israeli military sources.

The mass expulsion has forced around 200,000 people from the city in recent weeks, according to estimates reported by the Times of Israel and Israel’s Channel 12.

Rights groups have condemned the escalating attacks. Amnesty International warned the assaults will have “catastrophic and irreversible consequences” for Palestinians.
