Israeli forces snatch seven Gaza fishermen trying to feed their families

Israeli forces arrested seven fishermen off the coast of Gaza City and took them to an unknown location as they tried to feed their families, Al Jazeera Arabic reported.

The Israeli military bans fishing in Gaza’s waters and targets anyone attempting to go to sea with gunfire or arrests, despite fishing being one of the few ways to secure food amid the humanitarian collapse.

Many fishermen continue to risk venturing out, sometimes only a few metres from shore, facing grave danger to provide the minimum sustenance for their families.
