Gaza death toll reaches 64,718, health ministry says

The Ministry of Health in Gaza says hospitals across the territory have recorded 72 more Palestinians killed and 356 injured in the past 24 hours.

This brings the total number of people killed since Israel launched its assault on 7 October to 64,718, with at least 163,859 others wounded.

Health officials also confirmed that seven Palestinians, including a child, died from starvation in the past day, underscoring the deepening humanitarian catastrophe.
