Pakistan PM Sharif visits Doha in solidarity after Israeli attack

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Doha in a show of support following Israel’s recent attack on the Qatari capital.

Sharif is the latest leader to travel to Qatar since the strike, after visits by officials from Kuwait, Jordan and the UAE.

Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said the prime minister will meet Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to “convey Islamabad’s sympathies and support for the Gulf state”.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is also due to arrive in Doha later today.
