Israeli forces carry out mass arrests in occupied West Bank’s Tulkarem
Israeli military has started a crackdown on Friday on the city of Tulkarem in the occupied West Bank, with reports of mass arrests and kidnapping.
This comes after two Israeli soldiers had been injured when their military vehicle was hit by an explosive device, according to Al Jazeera.
A curfew has been imposed on Tulkarem, and hundreds of Palestinians are reported to have been pulled by Israeli forces from cafes and restaurants and forced to march towards a military checkpoint.
Separately, the Palestinian news agency Wafa has reported that Israeli forces have been carrying out raids in several parts in the occupied West Bank on Friday.
Israeli soldiers have seized a Palestinian home in the town of Beitin, near the city of Ramallah and transformed it into a military point. Other raids were reported in the towns of Beit Ummar, and al-Dhahiriya near Hebron.
They also raided the town of Qusra, near Nablus.
