Former Israeli army chief confirms Gaza casualties over 200,000
A former Israeli army commander, Herzi Halevi, has confirmed that more than 200,000 Palestinians have been killed or injured in the war in Gaza - an estimate close to the figures provided by Gaza’s health ministry, The Guardian reported.
“This isn’t a gentle war. We took the gloves off from the first minute,” Halevi said.
Halevi also stated that “not once” have military operations been inhibited by legal advice since October 2023.
