Israeli strikes leave 6,000 homeless in Gaza, civil defence says

Mahmoud Bassal, the spokesperson for Gaza’s civil defence, says Israeli air raids have left more than 6,000 people homeless today.

He said the military bombed buildings that had not been given evacuation orders, killing an unspecified number of people.

“Residents of Gaza City are now living in extremely difficult conditions under the continuous siege and bombardment,” Bassal added.
