Israel says 20,000 soldiers injured since 7 October 2023

The Israeli says 20,000 soldiers and officers have been wounded since 7 October 2023.

According to its Rehabilitation Division, about 1,000 new claims for recognition of war injuries are filed each month. Officials say they are currently monitoring the conditions of 31,000 troops with mental health issues.

The ministry added that 99 soldiers have undergone amputations, while 16 are completely paralysed.
