Arab Gulf defence body to convene in Doha

Arab Gulf leaders said on Monday that the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) joint defence body will meet in Doha following Israel's attack on the Qatari capital last week, the Reuters news agency reported.

In a statement, the leaders called for measures to activate the bloc's "joint defence mechanism", but did not provide additional details.
