Gaza City, north Gaza lose internet and mobile service amid Israeli attacks

MEE’s Maha Hussaini reports that Gaza City is experiencing an internet and mobile network outage amid Israel’s ground offensive on Gaza City and intensified attacks across the strip.

The Palestinian Telecommunications Company confirmed the blackout, saying that fixed internet and landline services have been disrupted in both the Gaza and northern Gaza governorates after Israel targeted several main infrastructure routes supplying the areas.

"Our teams are working around the clock to repair the damage despite the dangerous situation on the ground," the company said.
