Hezbollah calls on Saudi Arabia to 'turn a new page'

Hezbollah's Secretary General Naim Qassem on Friday called on Saudi Arabia "to turn a new page" with the Lebanese group when it comes to confronting Israel.

This follows Israel's unprecedented attack last week on Qatar.

Qassem said the region is facing "an exceptional and dangerous political turning point," and that nothing from now on will be the same in the region. 

He also added that Hezbollah is "ready as a resistance to fulfill our duty alongside the Lebanese Army if you have any decision to confront the enemy, not confront each other".

The US has pressured Lebanon to disarm Hezbollah, and permit only the Lebanese army to carry weapons.
