• Al-Shifa hospital, the largest medical complex in Gaza, will suspend some vital services due to fuel shortages, Gaza’s health director said.

• The government media office in Gaza estimates that 270,000 Palestinians have fled Gaza City since mid-August.

• Heavy Israeli bombardment and fire belts have been reported across Gaza since dawn on Saturday, killing over 44 Palestinians.

• Mass arrests and raids have been carried out by Israeli forces across the West Bank.

• Portugal has joined Australia, Canada, France and the UK in announcing plans to recognise a Palestinian state.
