Over 160 settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque

Al-Aqsa Mosque was stormed by 162 settlers earlier on Sunday through the Mughrabi Gate, ahead of the Jewish New Year. 

The settlers were under heavy protection by Israeli forces.

Meanwhile, Israeli authorities imposed strict restrictions on Palestinians seeking to enter the mosque, with some detained at its gates, local media reported.
