Netanyahu: 'Calls for a Palestinian state threaten our existence'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that calls for Palestinian statehood threaten Israel's existence and "constitute an illogical reward for terrorism".

His remarks come ahead of several countries’ expected recognition of Palestine as a state.

"At the United Nations, I will present the truth about our just struggle against the forces of evil and our vision of true peace born of strength," he declared.

"We will have to confront the UN and all other fronts and work on the false propaganda against us."

Netanyahu also indicated that he would meet US President Donald Trump for discussions after the upcoming UN meeting, according to Al Jazeera.
