South Africa calls for establishment of Palestinian state on 1967 borders
South African President Cyril Ramaphosa on Monday said that the nation supports the establishment of a Palestinian state on the 1967 borders.
Speaking at the two-state solution conference on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Ramaphosa said that "all obstacles to the two-state solution must be removed, including the separation wall".
Ramaphosa said that Palestinians have been denied a state for decades, and that the "only solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is the two-state solution".
We demand an immediate ceasefire, an end to the genocide in Gaza, Ramaphosa added.
