Israel failed to cover up genocide even after killing journalists, says Erdogan 

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, speaking at the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, said that while Israel has “closed all the entrances to Gaza, they still haven’t been able to cover up the genocide" even after killing more than 250 journalists.

"The attack on Qatar has also shown that the Israeli leadership is now completely out of control,” he said

Hundreds of aid workers and first responders have been killed while trying to help those injured in Israel’s attacks, said Erdogan.

“We cannot continue with this madness any more," he said, referring to Israel's ongoing genocide in Gaza. 

“We have to have a ceasefire in Gaza as soon as possible,” Erdogan said, adding that "everyone who is keeping silent is an accomplice to this barbarity”.

Erdogan, in his speech, pointed to Washington’s denial of visas to Palestinian Authority and Palestinian Liberation Organisation (PLO) officials, including PA president Mahmoud Abbas.
