Trump says Palestinian state recognitions rewarding 'horrible atrocities'

US President Donald Trump has denounced Palestinian state recognition as a reward for "horrible atrocities" carried out by Hamas, and launched an attack on the UN on Tuesday.

"The UN has such tremendous potential. I've always said it it has such tremendous, tremendous potential," he said.

"But it's not even coming close to living up to it."
