Saudi Arabia: Situation in Gaza dangerous, Israel threatens to expand conflict

Saudi Arabia's representative to the United Nations on Tuesday called on the Security Council to activate accountability measures against the Israeli government's recklessness.

"The situation in Gaza is dangerous and Israel threatens to expand the conflict. The Israeli attacks came as a result of the disruption of accountability," the representative said.  

"Common sense would not accept targeting Qatar while it was mediating to end the war," he said, adding that Israel violates international laws and norms.
