Israeli surveillance drone crashes inside UN base in Lebanon

An Israeli military drone crashed inside the headquarters of the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (Unifil), in southern Lebanon’s Naqoura, yesterday, but the device was "neutralised", the observer force said.

Like all Israeli military drone and other flights over south Lebanon, "this is a violation of resolution 1701 and Lebanese sovereignty," Unifil said, adding that it "will formally protest this act".
