Missile launched from Yemen intercepted, Israeli army says
The Israeli military on Thursday said that it had detected a missile launched from Yemen, which it said was intercepted.
Israeli forces announced on their official Telegram channel that air raid sirens sounded in several areas after the rocket was launched.
The Israeli Home Front Command reported that sirens sounded in Jerusalem, the greater Tel Aviv area, and central Israel after the rocket was launched.
Yedioth Ahronoth reported that millions of Israelis entered shelters following the rocket launch, and air traffic at Ben Gurion Airport was halted.
