Israeli forces kill 57 Palestinians since dawn on Thursday

Israeli forces have killed at least 57 Palestinians across Gaza since dawn on Thursday, Al Jazeera Arabic reported, quoting medical sources. 

At least four of the victims were aid seekers in the south of the enclave, medical sources said, adding that 25 Palestinians were killed in Gaza City alone. 

The latest deadly assaults occurred in the central Bureij refugee camp and Gaza City’s Tal al-Hawa neighbourhood.

A total of 65,419 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, mostly children and women, by Israeli forces since October 2023, and at least 167,160 others have been wounded.

Thousands of others remain unaccounted for under the rubble, making the actual death toll likely to be much higher.
