Gaza government media office condemns Netanyahu’s “desperate attempt to distort the facts”

The Gaza government media office has published a press release outlining “eight major lies” from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s UN General Assembly speech on Friday. 

The media office condemned the PM’s attempts to “evade legal responsibility” for the displacement, killing, and starvation of Palestinians in Gaza. 

Referring to the international community, the office added, “it appears that the world has become more aware and cognizant of the nature of the ‘Israeli’ occupation as a colonial-settler force based on lies, deception, and systematic killing.”
