• Health ministry officials in Gaza said that Israeli forces have killed at least 44 Palestinians throughout the Gaza Strip in the early hours of Saturday morning. 
• Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to "finish the job" during an address at the UN General Assembly. 
• Large crowds are gathering across Lebanon to mark the first anniversary of the death of the former chief of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, who Israel killed in an air strike.
• The Global Sumud Flotilla has completed final preparations to set sail from Crete towards Gaza, where no stops are scheduled before reaching waters under the Israeli blockade.
