Israeli parliamentarian says expelling Palestinians from the West Bank would be ideal

Nissim Vaturi, Likud parliamentarian and deputy Knesset speaker, said in a Knesset Channel interview that “the Israeli interest is that there wouldn’t be any Arabs here,” referring to the occupied West Bank. “If we could expel everyone, we would have done it,” he added.

He dismissed the Palestinian Authority’s role in Gaza, calling it “a terrorist authority,” the Israeli paper Haaretz reported on Sunday.

Asked whether he distinguishes between civilians and militants, Vaturi said: “There is no such thing,” claiming Arabs in the West Bank “do not think like us”.
