Here are the day's key developments:

• The Palestinian Health Ministry on Sunday said that Israel has killed over 66,000 Palestinians across the Gaza Strip. 

• The ministry noted that the death toll had climbed to 66,005, with a further 168,162 wounded since 7 October. 

• Among the death were 79 who were brought to hospitals in the past 24 hours.

• The Israeli army has demolished a multistorey building in Gaza City, just under an hour after ordering residents in several neighbourhoods to evacuate.

• The head of Unrwa says Gaza’s schools have been “completely destroyed” by Israel’s assault, forcing families to live in ruins and struggle each day for food and water.

• Nissim Vaturi, Likud parliamentarian and deputy Knesset speaker, said in a Knesset Channel interview that “the Israeli interest is that there wouldn’t be any Arabs here,” referring to the occupied West Bank. “If we could expel everyone, we would have done it,” he added.

• Lebanon’s National News Agency says Israeli jets carried out several raids this afternoon on areas between Medena Plain, Kfarreman and Jarmaq.

• Police in Liverpool have arrested dozens of demonstrators outside the Labour Party conference after activists staged a sit-in against the government’s ban on Palestine Action.
