Israeli military announces killing of Hamas's commander

The Israeli military on Sunday said that it had killed Hamas's commander Hasan Mahmoud Hasan Hussein, who was part of the 7 October 2023 attack. 

Hussein was a commander of the Nukhba company in Hamas’s Bureij Battalion, Israeli media have reported. 

Hussein led the attack on the bomb shelter on Route 232 in Kibbutz Re’im, according to the military.
