Israeli attack in southern Lebanon kills one

An Israeli drone strike in southern  Lebanon has killed one person, the country's National News Agency is reporting.

According to the report, the attack killed the driver of an excavator in the Shamisyah area of Shomor in the Bekaa Valley.

Footage circulating on social media appeared to show emergency teams carrying the victim away on a stretcher in the attack's aftermath.

Additionally, the agency reported that two more people were wounded in a separate Israeli attack on the main road in the southern town of Aitaroun.
