Palestinian Authority thanks Trump for 'determined effort' to end Gaza war

The Palestinian Authority on Monday welcomed US President Donald Trump's "determined efforts" to end Israel's genocide in Gaza. 

Trump's 20 point plan to end what a growing chorus of experts, world leaders and historians call a genocide in Gaza leaves open the door for the Palestinian Authority to govern the enclave after "reforms".

In a statement, the PA said it "welcomes the sincere and determined efforts of President Donald J Trump to end the war on Gaza, and affirms its confidence in his ability to find a path toward peace."
