Gaza death toll continues to rise, 42 Palestinians killed in 24 hours

Israeli forces killed at least 42 Palestinians and wounded 190 others in Gaza in the past 24 hours, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said on Tuesday. 

At least six Palestinians were killed on Tuesday in an Israeli bombing of a house west of Deir al-Balah city in central Gaza. Three Palestinians from the same family were also killed in an Israeli air strike on a tent housing displaced Palestinians near Khan Younis.

Israel’s war on Gaza has killed 66,097 Palestinians and wounded 168,536 others since 7 October 2023, the ministry said in a statement on Telegram.
