Israel issues last warning to residents to leave Gaza City or be deemed 'terrorists'

Israel has issued what it says is its final warning for residents of Gaza City to leave, saying the military would tighten its encirclement of the city.

"This is the last opportunity for Gaza residents who wish to do so to move south and leave Hamas operatives isolated in Gaza City," Defence Minister Israel Katz said in a statement shared with Israeli media.

"Those who remain... will be considered terrorists and terrorist supporters."
