UN Rapporteur says Israel has 'no right' to intercept Sumud flotilla in international waters

Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in the Palestinian Territories, told Al Jazeera that Israel has "no right" to intercept the Sumud Freedom Flotilla in international waters. 

Her comments come as sailors in the flotilla brace for attacks from Israel. 

Her comments come after Italy's foreign ministry said Israel confirmed that it will use violence against the flotilla. 

Connection with vessels in the flotilla has been sporadic as they near the Gaza coast.
