French foreign minister says Hamas has 'lost' and must accept surrender

France's foreign minister said Hamas must accept US President Donald Trump's ceasefire for Gaza because it has "lost". 

“Hamas bears a very heavy responsibility for the catastrophe experienced by the Palestinians,” foreign minister Jean-Noel Barrot told the AFP news agency. “It has lost. It must accept its own surrender.”
