Hamas will respond to Trump's Gaza plan 'soon,' group says

Hamas will respond to US President Donald Trump's Gaza plan "soon," a senior Hamas official told Al Jazeera Arabic. 

Hamas political bureau member Mohammed Nazzal said the group wants to respond “in a way that serves the interests” of the Palestinian people.

“We are not dealing [with the plan] under the logic that time is a sword pointed at our neck,” Nazza said, signalling that the group was still deliberating.
