Pakistan says Trump’s Gaza proposal differs from Muslim nations’ draft

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said the 20-point plan unveiled by US President Donald Trump this week does not match the draft prepared by Muslim-majority states. Addressing parliament, Dar said alterations had been made to the original proposal.

“I have made it clear that these 20 points which Trump has made public are not ours. I say that some changes have been made in it, in the draft we had,” he told lawmakers.

Trump released the plan on Monday, calling for an end to Israel’s war on Gaza and demanding the return of all captives, both living and dead, within 72 hours of a ceasefire.
