Video: Sumud flotilla activists treated as “terrorists” in Ktzi'ot Prison
Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir on Friday spoke from Ktzi'ot Prison, where members of the Global Sumud Flotilla are currently being detained and treated as “terrorists”.
“As I promised, those flotilla members, supporters of terrorism, are here in a security prison,” he can be heard saying in the video.
With roughly 500 participants from different countries aboard at least 42 vessels, the Global Sumud Flotilla set out carrying humanitarian aid in a historic effort to open up a humanitarian corridor in the Gaza Strip.
It was the largest civilian-led initiative ever to try and break Israel’s illegal blockade of Gaza.
