Israeli activist arrested while marching to Gaza to break siege

Israeli forces on Friday arrested Israeli activist Itamar Greenberg, along with other fellow demonstrators, during a protest march to Gaza in an effort to break the years-long siege, Reuters reported. 

Greenberg was released from prison six months ago after serving six separate prison terms for refusing his mandatory conscription orders over Israel’s crimes against humanity in Gaza.

The 18-year-old activist has been a prominent voice against Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

He has organised mass demonstrations in Tel Aviv and joined solidarity actions with Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
