Israel kills 20 officers pursuing corpse-mutilating gang in Gaza

Israeli forces on Friday killed 20 Palestinian police officers pursuing a criminal gang involved in killing citizens and mutilating their corpses in Khan Younis, Al Jazeera Arabic reported. 

"The occupation forces intervened by air to protect the lawless groups while the police were pursuing them in Khan Yunis. The occupation's intervention confirms that these militias are providing it with a direct service," a member of the Gaza interior ministry said. 

"Some gangs seek refuge behind the occupation to spread chaos and undermine internal security. The security services are determined to pursue all those involved and bring them to revolutionary justice," the ministry official said.
