Intense Israeli artillery targets refugee camps in Gaza

Intense Israeli artillery shelling on Friday targeted the area surrounding the Unrwa headquarters southwest of Gaza City, Palestinian media have reported. 

Gaza City and its northern areas have been subjected to intense aerial and artillery bombardment for hours, according to the Palestinian Information Center. 

Intensive Israeli airstrikes also targeted Al-Nafaq Street in Gaza City, coinciding with heavy artillery shelling targeting Al-Tuffah neighborhood in the east of the city, Al-Aqsa TV reported. 

The channel added that Israeli artillery shelling targeted the northern areas of the Nuseirat and Maghazi refugee camps in the central Gaza Strip.
