Two children among dead as Israeli continues pounding Gaza

At least six Palestinians were killed, including two children, in separate Israeli attacks on Gaza on Saturday morning. 

Wafa news agency reported that a number of civilians were killed after Israeli forces struck a house in Gaza City and a tent housing displaced people in al-Mawasi, in southern Gaza. 

Local sources told Wafa that Israeli warplanes launched intense attacks on Gaza City in the early hours. 

Earlier, Israeli media reported that Israel's military had been instructed to reduce activity in Gaza after it said it was preparing for an "immediate implementation" of the first stage of US President Donald Trump's Gaza plan following Hamas' response. 

However, the Israeli military's Arabic spokesperson issued a warning on Saturday for residents of Gaza City, saying it remained a "dangerous" combat zone.

He told residents in a post on X not to go north of the enclave or near any areas where Israel's military operates.
