British police arrest 175 people at pro-Palestine protest

British police have said in a post on X that it arrested 175 people during a Palestine Action protest in London.

The pro-Palestine action group was proscribed as “a terrorist organisation” in the UK in July.

The Metropolitan Police said the arrests include six people who had unfurled a banner on Westminster Bridge that read: “I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action.”
